The ceramic MAC sharpening stick is designed for the daily, fast and efficient maintenance of kitchen knives. Regular use of a sharpening stick helps to smooth the knife blade from stallions and micro-dents and keeps the knife in working condition for a longer time. Made of special ceramic material.
To use, hold the sharpening stick firmly in your hand or support it with the tip against the countertop. Slide the knife, pointed under the blade, with a smooth and firm movement downwards. Make sure you process the knife blade along its entire length from the tip to the heel. Repeat the same movement from each side of the knife blade 3-6 times.
After sharpening, clean the knife blade with warm water and a soft cloth. NB: A ceramic sharpening stick does not replace knife sharpening, but helps to keep the knife blade in working condition for a longer time!
